A home invasion takes a terrifying turn in the newly released trailer for Turning Point, an upcoming horror thriller from Lionsgate arriving on Digital and VOD later this summer.
In the film: “There is danger in the night, but the true terror is inside the house. Trapped within the home of a zombie in transition, Margot and her partner in crime must find their way out before they become the ghoul’s first victims. Their only hope for survival is a bizarre neighbor with an expert knowledge of the undead and the flicker of humanity remaining in their mutating stalker.”
The trailer teases a tense blend of home-invasion suspense and zombie horror, flipping the traditional undead formula on its head by trapping its characters inside a house with a creature that’s still in the process of transforming.
Written and directed by Joshua Wagner, the R-rated film stars Jillian Lee Garner, Mike Apple, Shane Brady (Doctor Sleep, Synchronic, Ballers), Lydia Hearst (The Haunting of Sharon Tate, Slayers, Z Nation), Sanchita Malik (Happy Anniversary, Love), and DJ Qualls (Road Trip, Hustle & Flow, The Man in the High Castle) as the mysterious “Casper.”
Turning Point will be released on Digital and VOD on August 25, 2026.
