If that wasn’t enough, Biehn believes audiences should prepare themselves.
According to the actor, Onslaught is going to “blow the doors off of any expectations,” describing it as “pedal-to-the-metal, action, horror, violence” with a punk rock ” ‘If you don’t like it, we don’t care’ vibe.” He added that the film moves at a blistering pace, calling it “very, very exciting” and “fast and furious.”
Based on the trailer, it’s hard to argue with the assessment. Onslaught looks like Wingard completely unleashed, embracing maximalist action and horror in a way that feels increasingly rare for a studio release.
Onslaught stars Adria Arjona, Dan Stevens, Michael Biehn, Drew Starkey, Regina Hall, Rebecca Hall, and Alex Pereira, and arrives in theaters September 4, 2026.
