The truth is… still out there.
LEGO has officially unveiled its long-awaited The X-Files set, and the reveal comes with a delightful surprise: Gillian Anderson stepping back into the world of Dana Scully for a charming new promotional short.
Created to celebrate the set’s announcement, the cinematic mini-film follows Anderson as she’s pulled into a mysterious investigation that gradually leads her to the new LEGO Ideas set, recreating the spirit of the beloved sci-fi series one brick at a time.
The LEGO Ideas The X-Files set recreates several iconic moments from the series, anchored by a detailed build of Fox Mulder‘s office alongside a forest clearing complete with a hovering UFO.
The 1,478-piece set includes eight minifigures:

Carl Busch
The Flukeman
A Grey Alien
It’s an impressive lineup that spans some of the show’s most memorable characters, with Flukeman making for an especially fun deep-cut inclusion.
LEGO Insiders will get early access beginning August 1, 2026, before the set receives its wide release on August 4, 2026.
