The hype train on Adam Wingard’s ‘Onslaught’ is rolling, with A24 releasing two new IMAX posters for the film promising an oncoming threat.
The hype train for Adam Wingard‘s (You’re Next) new movie, Onslaught, is revving up! Earlier this morning, we reported the director’s confirmation that the film takes place in the same universe as his cult favorite, The Guest. And now, A24 has released two new IMAX posters on IG, advertising an approaching threat that we should absolutely be terrified of.
Onslaught follows a mother (Adria Arjona) living in a trailer park who tries to protect her loved ones from a threat that has escaped from a secret military base, while mercenaries try to contain it.
The cast is stacked with familiar genre faces, as well. Joining Arjona are Dan Stevens (The Guest, Cuckoo, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire), Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Terminator), Rebecca Hall (The Night House, Godzilla vs. Kong), Drew Starkey (Queer), Eric Wareheim (Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!), Reginald VelJohnson (Die Hard), and UFC champion Alex Pereira, who reportedly plays a villain known as The Butcher.
The MPA has rated Onslaught R “for strong bloody violence, some gore, sexual material/nudity, and language.”
In the first poster below, we get a look at the unstoppable soldiers that pose the main threat of the film. The second features star Arjona, teasing her as the real threat the soldiers should be afraid of.
Experience the Onslaught when the film blasts into theaters on September 4, 2026, via A24.
