Art the Clown Joins the Killer Klowns in New ‘Downtown Clowntown’ Scare Zone at Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights is about to become even more terrifying for coulrophobes.

Universal Orlando has officially unveiled Downtown Clowntown, a brand-new scare zone that will unite the murderous extraterrestrials from Killer Klowns from Outer Space with one of modern horror’s most sadistic icons, Art the Clown, for an unforgettable street experience this fall.

The official announcement teases the chaos awaiting guests:

“The city that never sleeps becomes a waking nightmare when it’s overrun by Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Art the Clown and other clownsfolk who can’t wait to tear you limb from limb.”

The new scare zone marks the return of the Killer Klowns to Halloween Horror Nights while bringing Art the Clown into the mix for what promises to be one of the event’s bloodiest street experiences yet.

Fans can expect to encounter the cotton candy-wielding alien invaders alongside the silent killer from the Terrifier franchise as Downtown Clowntown transforms the streets into a circus of carnage filled with chainsaws, oversized mallets, sinister smiles, and plenty of surprises lurking around every corner.

The announcement is the latest reveal for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, which kicks off on August 28 and runs on select nights through November 1.
