EXCLUSIVE: Dread Central is exclusively debuting the first trailer for Binding Eva, the haunting supernatural thriller making its World Premiere next month atFrightFest2026.
Deep in an English forest, a man on the run returns again and again to the same moment of judgment, and the same impossible choice.
The feature has been selected for the festival’s prestigious First Blood strand, which spotlights standout debut filmmakers. Binding Eva will screen at the Odeon Luxe West End in London’s Leicester Square during the festival, which runs August 27–31. Tickets go on sale this Saturday.
Marking the feature directorial debut of Conscian Morgan, Binding Eva is an ambitious, self-financed supernatural thriller that was shot in England’s Forest of Dean with a remarkably small crew of just four people.
The film stars Ryan Ralph Gerrard (Outlander), alongside Catherine Deevy, Darcey Wood, and Paddy Glynn. It is produced by Britt Kuipers and Conscian Morgan, with an original score by Maciej Sadowski.
“When smuggler Felix hijacks a mother and her young daughter after a deal goes wrong, he forces them on a desperate trek through dense English woodland. Lost among the trees, hunted by something they never see, reality begins to fracture. Between Felix and the child, an unlikely tenderness takes root—the first decent thing he has done in years.
