Flashback Weekend Celebrates 25 Years with ‘Scream’ Reunion, ‘Evil Dead’s’ Jane Levy, Henry Thomas, and More

One of the Midwest’s biggest horror conventions is back with a massive lineup.

Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention has unveiled its full plans for its 25th anniversary celebration, returning to the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois, from July 31 through August 2, 2026. The convention is celebrating three decades of Scream while bringing together horror icons, anniversary reunions, exclusive film premieres, live events, and one of its biggest celebrity guest rosters yet.

Leading the festivities is a 30th anniversary celebration of Scream featuring David Arquette, Marley Shelton, Dermot Mulroney, Roger L. Jackson, Tony Revolori, Celeste O’Connor, Joseph Whipp, Jeremy Conner, Kraig Dane, and Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas, whose “Twisting the Knife” was featured in Scream 7.

The guest list also includes an impressive lineup of horror favorites, including Jane Levy (Evil Dead), Henry Thomas (The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep), Steven Weber, William Katt, Tom Atkins, Dick Warlock, Charles Band, Richard Band, Quinn Lord, and horror host Svengoolie (Rich Koz). The convention will also spotlight Obsession star Megan Lawless, whose appearance was recently announced.
