Seven more have joined ‘Thud’, a romantic comedy starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and Rudy Pankow as the Grim Reap and the Devil.
This news is no Thud, as Deadline reports that Piper Curda (Hoppers), Sujata Day (Insecure), Sterling Sulieman (Scrambled), Steve Agee (Peacemaker), Karan Soni (Deadpool), Dot-Marie Jones (Glee) and Katie Parker (The Fall of the House of Usher) have all joined the cast of the upcoming Grim Reaper and Devil romantic comedy.
They join stars Sarah Michelle Gellar (pictured above in Ready or Not 2) and Rudy Pankow (Uncharted), who are set to play the Grim Reaper and the Devil, respectively.
Other character details are under wraps.
The film “watches as the Grim Reaper and the Devil meet cute at a three-day destination wedding, falling in love after colliding at the event, where they’ve each come to sow their own chaos.”
Mali Elfman (Next Exit) is directing from a script by Noga Pnueli (Meet Cute).
Producers are Derek Bishé and David Grove Churchill Viste. Executive producers include none other than Radio Silence‘s Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, as well as Helmstreet Productions’ Lindsay Helms and Joel Nevells, Divide/Conquer‘s Greg Gilreath and Adam Hendricks, Dan Lawler and Pnueli.
The move marks a reunion for Gellar with Radio Silence after appearing in their sequel, Ready or Not 2.
Thud is set to shoot in Los Angeles, California.
