‘Revival’ Comes Back to Life on Netflix This August!

One of last year’s best-reviewed new horror shows is getting a major second life.

The complete first season of Revival will begin streaming on Netflix in the United States on August 24, 2026, bringing all 10 episodes of the Certified Fresh supernatural horror series to a much larger audience.

And for horror fans hoping to see the story continue, this Netflix launch could be an important one.

Based on the acclaimed New York Times bestselling Image Comics series created by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, Revival begins on a seemingly ordinary day in rural Wisconsin when the recently deceased suddenly return to life.

But these aren’t decomposing zombies. The revived remember who they were, look exactly as they did before, and return to their families as though nothing has changed. But as fear, paranoia, and violence begin spreading through the community, Deputy Dana Cypress finds herself investigating a murder in which everyone, living or dead, is a suspect.

The series stars Melanie Scrofano as Dana Cypress, Romy Weltman as her sister Martha “Em” Cypress, David James Elliott as their father, Sheriff Wayne Cypress, Andy McQueen as scientist Ibrahim Ramin, and Steven Ogg as Blaine Abel.
