EXCLUSIVE: The world’s best film festival showcase of new horror, science fiction, and fantasy films directed by women, Etheria Film Festival, has announced its 2026 Official Showcase lineup.
The 2026 Etheria Film Festival will also host live screenings in the following cities:
Los Angeles (The Los Feliz Theater on August 28 with the American Cinematheque)
New York City (Nitehawk Williamsburg on September 9 with the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival and The Future of Film is Female)
Now in its 12th year, Etheria has helped launch the careers of filmmakers including Axelle Carolyn (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), Gigi Saul Guerrero (V/H/S/85), Chloe Okuno (Watcher), Mariama Diallo (Master), Roseanne Liang (Murderbot), Natalie Erika James (Saccharine), Prano Bailey-Bond (Censor), and more.
