‘Parasomnia’ Trailer Brings Demonic Night Terrors to Shudder this September
Don’t fall asleep, because you’ll want to check out the trailer for demonic horror, ‘Parasomnia’, coming to Shudder in Septemner.
You’ll want to grab some coffee and keep your eyes open for this one, as Shudder has released a trailer for supernatural horror film Parasomnia.
The film follows Riley, a young woman tormented by night terrors and a past of unresolved tragedy. When her best friend is the latest to go missing, she begins to suspect the demonic figure lurking in her sleep has crossed over into the real world.
In the trailer, we see a birthday party gone very wrong, followed by all sorts of nightmarish imagery. There are eyeless victims, a grinning demon, and even a shot reminiscent of the iconic final image from The Blair Witch Project.
Jasmine Mathews, RJ Brown, Sally Stewart, Stephen Barrington, Danny Brown, and Simon Longnight star.
James Ross II wrote/directed the film.
Producers are Gabrielle Chapman and Pacey Hansen.
In his review out of Brooklyn Horror Fest 2025, Dread’s Chad Collins called Parasomnia “a terrifying debut feature”.
