We’ve seen an ungodly amount of Terrifier merchandise over the past few years, but this might be one of the coolest pieces of Art the Clown artwork yet.
Artist Julles Modelado has created a massive 1:1-scale Art the Clown diorama/bust based on an original concept by Travis Knight, and instead of simply recreating Art’s already iconic face, the sculpture cracks his skull wide open to reveal an entire Terrifier nightmare happening inside his head.
And there is a LOT going on in there.
The piece turns Art’s head into a gruesome anatomical cross-section, complete with exposed teeth, bone, muscle, blood, and a dangling eyeball. But instead of a brain, we’re treated to different versions of Art the Clown crawling around inside. There’s classic Art emerging near the bottom of the bust, while the Christmas-themed Santa Art from Terrifier 3 is hacking away with an axe above him, surrounded by Christmas trees and presents.
Basically, if you’ve ever wondered what’s going on inside Art the Clown’s head, apparently it’s just more Art the Clown.
The sculpture itself was created by Julles Modelado, whose work specializes in highly detailed models designed for 3D printing. The 1:1 piece was printed and hand-painted for this particular showcase by Ghost’s Museum of Monsters & Mayhem, with the artists also crediting Monument Hobbies for paint, Phrozen for resin, and Uniformation for the 3D printer.
The finished piece is being showcased as “Killer Set VI: Art the Clown Head,” and the ridiculous amount of detail only becomes more impressive the closer you look.
It’s grotesque, completely excessive, and filled with tiny little Terrifier details.
In other words, it’s pretty much perfect Art the Clown artwork.
