And yet, here we are.
Whatever happens next, it’s encouraging to hear that Carpenter is interested in sticking around. Whether that’s as an executive producer, composer, creative consultant, or something else entirely, having the man who created Michael Myers involved in the next chapter would certainly be welcome.
For now, Carpenter is focused on Cathedral, his new horror graphic novel and companion album. The project was inspired by a nightmare Carpenter had about an abandoned Los Angeles church and was developed alongside his longtime collaborators and family, including Sandy King, Cody Carpenter, and Daniel Davies.
