Funko Is Burning Through ‘Halloween II’ With New Michael Myers, Laurie Strode and Dr. Loomis Pops

Michael Myers is going up in flames for Funko’s latest trip to Haddonfield.

Funko has unveiled a new wave of Pop! figures inspired by Rick Rosenthal’s Halloween II, the 1981 sequel that picked up immediately after the events of John Carpenter’s original Halloween.

The new collection includes Michael Myers (on fire), Laurie Strode and Dr. Samuel Loomis, along with a larger Movie Cover edition celebrating the sequel.

As we know, Carpenter didn’t return to direct Halloween II, although he did return with Debra Hill to write and produce the sequel. The film famously moves the action from the streets of Haddonfield to Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, where Laurie Strode is recovering from Michael’s Halloween night attack while Dr. Loomis continues desperately trying to stop The Shape.

Funko has pulled directly from some of the sequel’s most memorable imagery for the new Pops. Laurie appears in her hospital gown, complete with her injuries, while Dr. Loomis comes armed and ready to hunt Michael through Haddonfield once again.

The best of the bunch, though, might be Michael Myers engulfed in flames, recreating the spectacular finale in which Loomis blows up the hospital operating room with himself and Michael still inside. The figure has Michael completely surrounded by translucent orange flames with blood running from his eyes.

There’s also a special Halloween II Movie Cover Pop featuring Michael with his bloody knife packaged inside an oversized display box inspired by the film’s iconic skull and pumpkin artwork.
