‘Onslaught’ Goes Full Retro With Killer New Character Posters

The marketing for Adam Wingard’s Onslaught continues to be a whole lot of fun, with A24 dropping a new batch of super retro character posters for the upcoming action-horror movie.

And beyond looking like something pulled straight off the wall of an old-school video store, the posters give us some new character details and pairings.

First up is the film’s “killer couple,” Dan Stevens as Dr. Kammler and Rebecca Hall as Frau Kammler. Dr. Kammler is teased with the line, “The government buries its mistakes. He resurrects them,” while Frau Kammler’s poster warns, “Her safe word is slaughter.”

Then we have “the government’s secret weapons,” including Alex Pereira as The Butcher and Michael Biehn as Baylor. The Butcher has “escaped and you’re on the chopping block,” while Baylor’s “deal is about to be terminated.” Considering Biehn’s history with The Terminator, that last one is a particularly fun touch.
