Dr. Loomis has arrived in a new teaser for ‘Halloween: The Game’ that recreates one of the film’s eerier moments.
“Every kid in Haddonfield thinks this place is haunted.”
Any fan of John Carpenter‘s Halloween knows the next line spoken by Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasance). “They may be right.”
In anticipation of the release of Halloween: The Game next month, developer Illfonic and co-publisher Gun Interactive have released a new teaser that recreates that memorable scene. And it’s giving me chills.
These creators have proven themselves legitimate fans of the film-based titles they release, and Halloween is no exception. Everything we’ve seen so far perfectly recreates the atmosphere of Carpenter’s original. This September, there’s nothing else I want to be playing. Okay, that’s a lie, but trust me when I say, I’ll be taking frequent walks through Haddonfield.
Halloween: The Game takes players back to Haddonfield on Halloween night, 1978, allowing them to either become the Boogeyman himself or fight back against Michael Myers as the residents of the Illinois suburb. The game features both single-player and multiplayer modes.
The game stalks into homes on September 8, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Advance Access beginning September 4 for the Deluxe Edition.
