The fog is rolling back in.
Konami has released a massive new gameplay trailer for Silent Hill: Townfall, giving us nearly 19 minutes of footage from the upcoming psychological horror game, which is set for release on September 24, 2026.
Developed by Screen Burn and co-published by Annapurna Interactive and Konami, Townfall is a full-length, standalone Silent Hill experience set on the cold, isolated Scottish island of St. Amelia.
The game follows Simon Ordell, who is mysteriously summoned back to the fog-covered island to “make things right,” only to discover an apparently abandoned town where something is very much still lurking.
Played entirely in first person, the new footage shows Simon exploring homes and apartments throughout St. Amelia, solving puzzles using a strange pocket television known as the CRTV, encountering one of the island’s creatures, and eventually crossing into the game’s nightmarish Otherworld with a pistol in hand.
Combat looks frantic, weapons and resources are limited, and the CRTV allows Simon to tune into unstable signals that reveal clues as he begins piecing together his connection to the island and its inhabitants.
And, yeah, this looks like Silent Hill.
Silent Hill: Townfall arrives September 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games Store, with select editions offering 48 hours of early access.
