‘Resident Evil’ Turns an Organ Transplant Bag Into the Year’s Most Insane Popcorn Bucket

Resident Evil is less than a month away, and today Sony Pictures revealed what might be one of the most hilariously fucked up movie theater collectibles we’ve seen in a while.

It’s an organ transplant bag.

For your popcorn.

The Resident Evil Organ Transplant Popcorn Bag is coming exclusively to select Regal theaters and is designed to look like the medical cooler carried by Bryan (Austin Abrams) in the upcoming film.

And because apparently someone at Regal has a sense of humor, the official advertisement promises that it “comes with a large popcorn (heart not included).”

The collectible is a green zippered bag complete with a medical cross and “Handle with Care / Keep Cool / Do Not Freeze” printed across the front.

As we’ve previously reported here on Dread Central, the all-new story follows Bryan, a medical courier who unwittingly finds himself in a nonstop race for survival as one horrifying night collapses around him in chaos.

Naturally, things don’t go particularly well for the guy transporting biological material through Raccoon City.

Tickets for Resident Evil are now on sale through Regal, with the Organ Transplant Popcorn Bag available at select theaters while supplies last.

Resident Evil infects theaters and IMAX on September 18, 2026.
