‘Remain’ Trailer – Jake Gyllenhaal Haunted by Mysterious Woman in New Film from M. Night Shyamalan
Jake Gyllenhaal is set to be haunted by a mysterious woman next Valentine’s Day in the new trailer for ‘Remain’ from M. Night Shyamalan.
She’s unlike anyone he’s ever met.
Jake Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko) is set to be haunted by a mysterious woman in the new film from M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense) that has some slight Obsession vibes.
The trailer starts almost like that trailer for Companion, showing Gyllenhaal and co-star Phoebe Dynevor in a budding romance. But it soon turns eerie as a ghostly vibe seeps over everything, with imagery that practically screams Obsession.
Based on the novel by best-selling author Nicholas Sparks, the film follows a reclusive architect who moves to a small coastal town to complete his latest project. There, he encounters an alluring young woman who pulls him out of his shell and into the center of a deadly mystery that hangs over the town.
Phoebe Dynevor, Ashley Walters, Julie Hagerty, and Jay O. Sanders also star.
The film is produced by Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock and Theresa Park, with Sparks executive producing.
Remain arrives in theaters February 5th, 2027 via Warner Bros. Pictures.
