Hoffman’s getting a 4K upgrade.
Lionsgate is bringing Saw V, Saw VI, and Saw VII to 4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital on November 10, 2026, with each film receiving its own release featuring theatrical and extended/unrated versions.
Preorders for all three open September 29, according to the individual press releases.
The three films follow Detective Mark Hoffman as he carries on Jigsaw’s bloody legacy, with increasingly elaborate games unfolding while the secrets surrounding his involvement threaten to catch up with him.
Alongside the returning bonus features, each release includes new director-focused material exclusive to the Blu-ray disc. Here’s what’s being added:
- Saw V: “Establishing Shot with Director David Hackl” and “Everybody Deserves a Chance: David Hackl on SAW V”
- Saw VI: “The Murders Continue: Kevin Greutert on SAW VI”
- Saw VII: “Will You Survive Until the End? Director Kevin Greutert on SAW VII”
Directed by David Hackl, Saw V pits Hoffman against a suspicious FBI agent while five strangers face a series of interconnected tests. Its returning extras include filmmaker commentaries, individual featurettes on the Pendulum, Cube, and Coffin traps, “The Fatal Five,” behind-the-scenes footage, and cast and crew interviews.
Kevin Greutert takes over for Saw VI, which sends a health insurance executive through a particularly personal game devised by Jigsaw. That release brings back director, writer, and producer commentaries alongside “Jigsaw Revealed,” “The Traps of SAW VI,” “A Killer Maze: Making SAW: Game Over,” director’s diaries, interviews, and more.
Greutert also directs Saw VII, originally released as Saw 3D: The Final Chapter. This installment follows self-help guru and supposed Jigsaw survivor Bobby Dagen, whose secrets put him at the center of another gruesome game. Returning supplements include producer and writer commentaries, deleted and extended scenes, “52 Ways to Die,” behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews.
