Ahead of the show’s debut, Peacock has unleashed the opening scene from the Friday the 13th prequel series, Crystal Lake. And oh, what a bloody good tease it is!
In the clip, we find Pam (Linda Cardellini) covered in blood, staring into a mirror. We don’t know what happened or why, but we can make a pretty good guess. “What did you do?” she asks herself after pulling a piece of glass from her knuckles. Soon, viewers will find out exactly what she did.
I feel like this is Peacock making a statement by saying, “Oh yes, there will be blood”. Get ready.
From A24 and showrunner Brad Caleb Kane (It: Welcome to Derry), the Friday the 13th prequel stars Linda Cardellini (The Curse of La Llorona) as Pamela Voorhees and follows the disturbing events surrounding the town after her son’s drowning.
As we previously reported, all eight episodes premiere October 15, 2026, on Peacock in the U.S.
