A new sci-fi horror film from Grammy Award Winner and filmmaker Flying Lotus (Kuso, V/H/S/99), Ash has received a release date from RLJE Films and Shudder this week.
First reported by Deadline, Ash will release in theaters on March 21, 2025. The film is then expected to make its at-home debut on the Shudder streaming service later in the year.

“On the mysterious planet of Ash, Riya (Eiza González) awakens to find her crew slaughtered. When Brion (Aaron Paul) arrives to rescue her, an ordeal of psychological and physical terror ensues while Riya and Brion must decide if they can trust one another to survive.”
Iko Uwais (The Raid: Redemption), Beulah Koale, and Kate Elliott also star.
Ash is written by Jonni Remmler and will feature an original score composed by Flying Lotus.
Neill Blomkamp (District 9) produced the upcoming feature.
