The hand is heading to Ibiza, and I’m going to need to borrow somebody’s headset.
Meta has revealed the first key art for I Let You In, a six-episode immersive horror series set in the universe of Talk to Me, coming exclusively to Meta Quest headsets and Meta VR Glasses.
The series follows a group of young travelers chasing the ultimate party in Ibiza, where they become hooked on the thrill of conjuring spirits. The hand and its deadly rituals return with new characters and a new setting, turning possession into a supernatural high deadlier than any drug.
Talk to Me is so authentically frightening, but what really makes it work is that frantic teen energy. It feels like a bunch of kids hanging out, fucking around, and finding out. And without that perfect little wink of an ending, I’m not sure it would have landed quite as hard as it did. It’s a spectacular feature debut from Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou, and it deserved its monster success, earning more than $90 million worldwide.
Being able to experience that world firsthand through VR sounds fucking awesome. The biggest problem is that we don’t all have these headsets, which makes it harder to get excited about something we might not actually be able to watch. I’m excited about the possibilities, but I’m also going to have to find somebody who has one so I can check this out.
Filming on all six episodes wrapped in Spain earlier this year, and the series is now in post-production. Craig William Macneill directs every episode, with Trent Atherton writing. The Philippou brothers are executive producers alongside the team from original producer Causeway Films, XRTV, Meta, and Sur Film.
The cast includes Aubri Ibrag, Charlotte Maggi (Rebel Moon), Sofia Hublitz, Julio Peña, Raff Law, and Charlie Hiscock.
Meta commissioned the series from XRTV for its Quest headsets and newly unveiled VR Glasses, which the company says are planned for spring 2027. A separate feature sequel also remains in development with the brothers returning as filmmakers.
