Focus has already had a phenomenal run with Curry Barker’s Obsession, which crossed $500 million worldwide. The studio also has Barker’s Anything But Ghosts lined up for May 7, 2027.
To me, this looks like their Buddy play: a chance to connect with an audience that clearly has an appetite for childhood comfort turned into something horrific. Release plans and the scope of the deal haven’t been announced. Congratulations to everyone involved.
