‘Slayground’ Poster Reveals January 29 Release Date; Full Trailer Tomorrow

Zero days since the last homicide. Probably not a great sign when you’re clocking in.

A24’s new teaser poster for Jeremy Saulnier’s (Green Room, Rebel Ridge) Slayground reveals the horror film will open in theaters January 29, 2027, with the first full trailer arriving tomorrow.

The poster puts a murderous spin on those workplace signs counting the days since the last accident, complete with a big blue zero sporting a sad face.

A24 surprised us with the first mysterious teaser, which used security camera footage to introduce what looks like a haunted attraction gone horribly wrong. It reminded me of Gregory Plotkin’s criminally underrated Hell Fest, but with a grimier, found footage feel to the marketing.

Between that promo and the waivers circulating on social media, this has been a fun way to introduce the film. We’re getting the Halloween campaign now, even if we have to wait until January to actually step inside. Hopefully tomorrow’s trailer gives us a better idea of what Saulnier has waiting for us.

Previously titled October, the film stars Imogen Poots, James Badge Dale, Cory Michael Smith, Chase Sui Wonders, Sophie Wilde, Matty Matheson, Young Mazino, and Stephen Root.

Check out the poster below, and come back tomorrow for the full trailer.
