“Carrie is connecting with both longtime Stephen King fans and a new generation altogether — including young adults and international audiences, with particular strength among female viewers,” said Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television at Amazon MGM Studios. “It speaks to the enduring power of this story and signals that Mike Flanagan’s reimagining of the iconic IP has real breadth. And there’s plenty to revisit while we wait. We spotted Margaret White’s wonderfully unexpected Army of Darkness connection and took a closer look at the opening titles’ gradual transformation throughout the season.
Spoilers follow in these next links: Our necklace theory explores a possible connection between several characters, while Flanagan weighed in on Chris’s apology during the finale. We also shared a massive look at prom night through officially released finale images.
