Catherine Ashmore Bradley and Cameron Crovetti (the ‘Goodnight Mommy’ remake) will star in the psychological horror film ‘Dollkeeper’.
Add another horror film to the list that understands the terror of dolls.
Catherine Ashmore Bradley (The Really Loud House) and Cameron Crovetti (Goodnight Mommy) have been cast in the psychological horror film Dollkeeper, reports Deadline.
We don’t have many plot details at the moment, but the outlet reports that the film “follows a teenage girl confronting a terrifying figure connected to her family’s past”.
Based on the title, I’m guessing that figure has something to do with dolls. Aka, childhood’s little nightmares. Child’s Play, Stuart Gordon’s Dolls, that creepy Are You Afraid of the Dark? episode with the girl who disappears in the dollhouse…dolls will always be terrifying. Always.
Cameron Crovetti in Goodnight Mommy (2022)
Bradley will star as Sara, while Crovetti will play her older brother Dylan.
Horror fans may be less familiar with Bradley, who is best known for her role on the Nickelodeon show, The Really Loud House (which also sounds like my childhood). Crovetti, however, has a few genre credits to his name, mainly as one of the twin brothers in the Goodnight Mommy remake.
Stephen Henric is producing through Voodoo Pictures.
Production will begin soon in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
