If you’re planning to spend Christmas with Robert Eggers’ Werwulf, you can now make those plans on film. Focus Features announced today that tickets for the official 35mm screenings are on sale, ahead of the movie’s December 25 theatrical release.
Head to the official Werwulf website to find screenings and grab your tickets. Check the format when booking to make sure you’re selecting a 35mm presentation.
The filmmaker behind The Witch, The Lighthouse, and Nosferatu co-wrote Werwulf with Sjón, his collaborator on The Northman. Aaron Taylor-Johnson (28 Years Later), Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse), and Lily-Rose Depp (Nosferatu) star in what Focus describes as “a harrowing tale of devotion, damnation and the devil within.”
As we discussed in our coverage of the latest trailer, the film takes us to 13th-century England for a werewolf story steeped in medieval folklore. You can revisit that footage below while deciding where to see it.
