Homecoming is savage in the trailer for the final season of ‘Yellowjackets’, teasing a return home in which past demons come calling.
Homecoming is savage.
Showtime has released a trailer for the final season of its hit series, Yellowjackets. It sees the survivors of the brutal saga confronting their past as the demons of their actions close in. Buckle up. This plane is going down in a blaze of glory.
The trailer is yet another reminder for those like me who haven’t seen much of Yellowjackets that I really need to correct that. Between a great cast, an intriguing Lord of the Flies-esque premise, and loads of darkness, it all looks fantastic.

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets follows a high-school girls’ soccer team stranded after a plane crash in the remote northern wilderness, alongside the lives of the survivors nearly 25 years later.
The final season’s ensemble includes Melanie Lynskey (Castle Rock), Christina Ricci (The Addams Family), Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse (The Book Thief), Jasmin Savoy Brown (Scream VI), Sophie Thatcher (Heretic), Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton (Mad Max: Fury Road), Liv Hewson (Santa Clarita Diet), and Hilary Swank (The Hunt).
For those catching up, our own Zofia Wijaszka awarded the third season 4.5/5 in her review, praising its “remarkable character development that extends to every member of its ensemble.”
Yellowjackets begins streaming on Paramount+ November 20th with the Premium plan.
