Ahead of its theatrical release next year on January 23, 2026, IGN has revealed the first international poster  for Christophe Gans' Return to Silent Hill.

Starring Jeremy Irvine (The Woman in Black: Angel of Death) and Jigsaw‘s Hannah Emily Anderson, Return to Silent Hill was written by Gans, Sandra Vo-Anh, and Will Schneider, and is a direct adaptation of Konami's 2001 psychological horror game classic Silent Hill 2. Gans' previous trip to the foggy town, 2006's Silent Hill, was a blend of the first three games in the series.

Evie Templeton, who voiced Laura in Bloober Team's recent Silent Hill 2 Remake, also stars.

In Return to Silent Hill:

“James (Irvine), a man broken after being separated from his one true love (Anderson). When a mysterious letter calls him back to Silent Hill in search of her, he finds a once-recognizable town transformed by an unknown evil. As James descends deeper into the darkness, he encounters terrifying figures both familiar and new and begins to question his own sanity as he struggles to make sense of reality and hold on long enough to save his lost love.”

Return to Silent Hill hits theaters on January 23, 2026 via Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting. Check out IGN's official poster below, which sees James getting a peek at the notorious Pyramid Head, and for more Silent Hill news, here's our review of Konami's latest, Silent Hill f.
