Top Horror Movies Streaming This Week

What's new on the list of top horror movies on streaming this week? Two brand new movies and the return of one of the most popular films of 2025 to the very top of this list. First, the new films include writer and director Bryan Bertino's newest film, since The Dark and the Wicked, released in 2020. It's been five years, and while another director is rebooting his most successful film, The Strangers, Bertino has moved forward with his latest offering just in time for Halloween.
The biggest surprise is the emergence of an independent serial killer film that was recently added to Prime, Kill Me Again. It leaped into the top five with only a few press notices, and that is admittedly intriguing. Kill Me Again was released in theaters in the summer and has made it to streaming just in time for scary season.
The big question last week was whether or not a film that has been part of the streaming top ten for most of the year still had the juice to rise again to the top once it was placed on a new streaming service. I don't think anyone really doubted that it could happen, but we were on pins and needles until the official stats came in. It's all about staying in the Halloween spirit, and watching scary movies is one of the best ways to do that.
