The award-winning indie horror thriller will be released in select AMC theaters on February 13, 2026.
It tells the story of a woman who awakens from a five-year coma after a terrible car accident to find her world drastically altered. An enigmatic religious leader has taken over her home and her husband and daughter have fallen completely under his control.
But it’s not just her own family — the entire town is under the influence of his insidious cult. Determined to uncover the truth, she underestimates just how far the cult will go to protect its secrets.
Genre favorite Ted Raimi (Evil Dead II, Candyman) appears in the film alongside Kate Daily, Alec James, Patrick Harney, Anna Borchert, Bronsonn Taylor, Darby Cappillino, and Donald Morgan.
Robert Hollocks directs from a script he co-wrote with Amy Rhinehart Bailey. Beyond Casual Media produces.
The Observance is rated R for “bloody violence, suicide, and some language.”
