The all-horror streaming service Shudder has been celebrating its 10th anniversary all year long, and they’re promising that they’re only getting started as we head into Year Eleven.
Shudder has released a 10th birthday celebration video tonight featuring birthday greetings from various actors and filmmakers whose work has been featured on Shudder over the years, and it also features first-look sneak peeks at some upcoming Shudder nightmares.
Shudder’s 2026 slate includes The Mortuary Assistant, The Crazy Old Lady, Mother of Flies, Bodycam, Honey Bunch, Night Patrol, and Whistle, with many more titles sure to be announced throughout next year. Check out the video below for sneak peeks!
In case you’re wondering, The Mortuary Assistant is indeed an adaptation of Brian Clarke’s popular horror video game, which is being directed by Jeremiah Kipp (Slapface).
The story for The Mortuary Assistant involves mortician Rebecca Owens, who on her first night at River Fields Mortuary, learns of a sinister presence that resides there.
As the dead awaken and malevolent spirits bind themselves to her, Rebecca has to learn how to combat the demons (including the figurative demons of her past) and survive the night.
Stay tuned for more on that movie and all of Shudder’s upcoming releases.
