A new trailer for murder mystery ‘A Thousand Cuts’ promises a darkly comedic whodunit surrounding true crime hosts.
A trailer for writer/director Jake Horowitz‘s A Thousand Cuts has arrived, promising a darkly comedic murder mystery that threatens to tear a couple apart. Maybe their souls, too.
“During a live true crime special, hosts Roberta and Frasier reopen the 30-year-old murder of horror novelist Bernard Balance and his missing son. As eccentric witnesses, hidden clues, and absurd twists emerge, the investigation spirals into a darkly comedic whodunit, turning their crumbling relationship, and the night, into a clever, suspenseful and unpredictable murder mystery.”
The film stars Jonas Chernick (“Fargo”), Storm Steenson (“Reacher”), David Hewlett (The Shape of Water), Julian Richings (Urban Legend), Varun Saranga (Ready or 2: Here I Come), Tommie-Amber Pirie (The Amityville Curse), Moracco Aurelius Latimore, Jarrod Clegg (Trap) and Liam Marshall.
Horowitz produced alongside Jason Speir.
Witness A Thousand Cuts when the film lands on VOD March 26th via Persimmon.
