Tragic news this morning as Deadline reports that actress Mariclare Costello has died at the age of ninety.
Costello’s family announced that she passed on Friday, April 17th in Brooklyn, NY.
For horror fans, Costello may best be known for her role as vampiric hippie Emily from Let’s Scare Jessica to Death. You likely recognize the eerie above image of her emerging from the water to the horror of the title character.
Other genre outings from Costello include films such as Nightmares and Shadow of the Blair Witch. Costello was also well known for role as Miss Rosemary Hunter on “The Waltons”.
