A24 has shared a BTS video following ‘Backrooms’ filmmaker Kane Parsons taking his liminal nightmare on tour in Mexico.
A24’s Backrooms is fast approaching, with Kane Parsons‘ liminal horror film arriving late next month. Today, the film’s IG account has shared a video entitled Tour Diaries 001: CDMX that shows Parsons on tour with the movie in Mexico.
There doesn’t seem to be any new information presented in the video, but we do get a great look at the fan excitement for the film, with crowds of people cheering for Parsons. I know I’m excited to disappear into the expansive yellow nightmare that is Backrooms and find what horror waits there.
Based on Parsons’ long-running web series, Backrooms follows Academy Award nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor as a furniture store owner who discovers a portal to a strange, empty office space hidden in the back of his shop.
Renate Reinsve, Lukita Maxwell, and Finn Bennett also star.
