John Jarratt (Wolf Creek) will next star in the slasher Shed, the marquee title on genre sales company Black Mandala’s Cannes Film Market slate, which the company will present alongside its sub-label Red Owl, reports Variety.
Shed is set on Christmas Eve, when a 10-year-old girl accidentally locks herself inside a farm shed during a game of hide-and-seek and must survive as a violent intruder unleashes a murderous rampage across the property.
Directed by Steven J. Mihaljevich, the cast also includes Jason Robert Lester (He Never Left) and Mani Shanks (Dark City).
The remaining Black Mandala titles span multiple corners of the genre space.
- Shed — Directed by Steven J. Mihaljevich. Stars John Jarratt, Jason Robert Lester, and Mani Shanks. On Christmas Eve, a 10-year-old girl trapped in a farm shed during hide-and-seek must survive while a violent intruder carries out a murderous rampage across the property.

- Hotline — Directed by Lucas Nicotti. Set in 1980s Buenos Aires, the film follows a cabaret dancer and telephone hotline operator whose double life unravels as calls become increasingly sinister.
