Peacock has dropped a trailer for their music-centered horror film, Strung, announcing a deadly tune of secrets of seduction this June.
Chloe Bailey (The Exorcism) stars as “a talented violinist whose prestigious new role as a music tutor for an enigmatic, elite family spirals into a psychological battle for her safety and sanity.”
Also starring are Lynn Whitfield (Eve’s Bayou), Lucien Laviscount (“Scream Queens”), Anna Diop (Us) and Coco Jones (Vampires vs. the Bronx).
Malcolm D. Lee (Scary Movie 5) directed the film. It was written by Alan McElroy for Blumhouse.
Strung is set to make music on Peacock when it premieres on the service June 26th, following its premiere as the opening film at Miami Beach’s American Black Film Festival on May 27th.
