In They Live, Roddy Piper stars as a drifter who happens upon a pair of sunglasses that reveal a world of aliens and consumerist messaging such as “obey” and “consume”. With the help of Frank (Keith David) and other rebels, he aims to take down the alien society that has taken control of the world right from under our noses.
Frankly, more of us could use these eye-opening glasses these days, but I digress.
