Krysten Ritter Back for ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2
Krysten Ritter is back for Showtime’s “Dexter: Resurrection” season two, joining an all-star cast. But, who will she play this time?

Krysten Ritter (pictured above) is back for season two of Showtime’s “Dexter: Resurrection“, reports Deadline.
No word yet on who the actress will play in her guest role. That’s because her season one character, Lady Vengeance, a serial killer, was, SPOILER, killed off at the end of season one. Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ritter returned as Vengeance, perhaps in Dexter’s (Michael C. Hall) head. But that’s just me.
Ritter joins the previously announced Uma Thurman, who returns for Season 2, reprising her character Charley. New cast members also include Brian Cox as The New York Ripper, Dan Stevens as The Five Borough Killer, and Bokeem Woodbine as Capt. Mixon, and Nona Parker Johnson as Fiona Mixon.
The series hails from producer and showrunner Clyde Phillips.
A resurrection, so to speak, of the “Dexter” series that first began in 2006 and followed a man who’s a forensics specialist by day and killer of serial killers by night, “Resurrection” brought the character back after the series ended in 2013. Premiering last year on Paramount+, season 1 of “Dexter: Resurrection” takes place after Dexter was shot by his son. Upon waking from a coma, Dexter sets out for New York City, wanting to find his son and be the father he should’ve been.
I’m one of those audience members who fell off eventually, despite absolutely adoring the first four seasons of “Dexter”. Based on that cast and positive reception, I think it’s about time I get back in.
At this time, there are no plot details for season 2.
Executive producers are Phillips, Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, Tanner Bean, and Katrina Mathewson.
Best known perhaps for her role as Jessica Jones in the series of the same name, Ritter clearly made an impression as Mia/Lady Vengeance in “Resurrection”. Consider us very curious to see what plans are in store for her this time around.
