‘Hellraiser’ Has Such Sights to Show You at this Year’s Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights!
Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights has such sights to show you this year with ‘Hellraiser’ joining the fold for the first time!

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights has such sights to show you this year, as they’ve announced that Hellraiser will be bringing Hell to the annual event in the Fall!
That’s right. For the first time, Universal’s haunted house showcase is inviting Clive Barker‘s Hellraiser into the fold. Expect chains. Cenobites. And loads of screams to satisfy ole’ Pinhead’s thirst for good suffering.
Inspired by Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth, guests will enter the iconic Lament Configuration puzzle box, summon the Cenobites, and open a gateway to a diabolical dimension where unspeakable horrors await. Fans will experience various hellish locations from the films, including the attic where Frank Cotton first unleashed the Cenobites, the Channard Institute, and the twisty Labyrinth, where Pinhead and the Cenobites lie in wait for new souls to torment for eternity.
As if all of this wasn’t big enough news, legendary Pinhead actor Doug Bradley will reprise his character and lend his voice to both haunted houses in Hollywood and Orlando! Tear my soul apart now, Mr. Bradley.
I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for Halloween Horror Nights merch, and Hellraiser will, of course, have a presence in that category. Fans can get their hands on all sorts of limited-release merchandise inspired by the Hellraiser haunted house, including a T-shirt and a Pinhead acrylic figure, which can be added to the separately sold Infernal Carnival collectible display. These items will be available at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood and will launch tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1, at 9 am PST at shopUniversal.com.
I don’t think it can be overstated just how cool this is. We’re used to seeing the likes of Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees patrolling the Universal parks during Halloween Horror Nights. But Pinhead? Butterball? Maybe even that goofy CD Cenobite? Not to mention, Doug Bradley reprising his role and lending his voice? Hell. Yes.
Haven’t had the pleasure of Hellraiser in your life yet? That needs to change immediately. Released in 1987 and based on his book, , Clive Barker’s changed the game in horror. One of the bloodiest films ever (at that time), it shocked the hell out of audiences and made kids like me who watched it way too young cower under the sheets. There’s a reason Stephen King called Barker the “future of horror”.
