Get ready for a circus, because the Killer Klowns are returning to Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights this year!
Universal Orlando gets all of the best stuff when it comes to Halloween Horror Nights. As a Los Angeles resident, I continue to be sad about it. Floridians won’t be this year, though, because it sounds like the Killer Klowns from Outer Space are returning this year to put a painted smile on that face!
This morning, the official Twitter account for Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights dropped the following tease: “Klown around and find out. The Killer Klowns from Outer Space are coming to the street of Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights. More deets coming soon.“
What this sounds like to me is that, rather than a full haunted house as the Klowns got in 2019, they’ll be roaming around in one of the park’s many Scare Zones. Still, any Killer Klown is a good Killer Klown. We can never have enough of these goofy, pie-slinging invaders from outer space. At least, I know I can’t.
Every time the Klowns invade Universal, they always replicate the look of the creatures first created by the Chiodo Brothers back in the 80s to a T. Seriously, they look magnificent. And I’m not just saying that because Killer Klowns was one of my first horror movies, and one that remains a personal favorite.
Maybe I’ll have to take a trip down to Orlando this October, get myself some cotton candy…
Klown around and find out 😈
