NECA’s New Invisible Man Figure Is So Invisible, Even the Box Disappears

Sometimes the best ideas are the simplest ones.

NECA is taking its Universal Monsters collection to the next logical place with the Ultimate The Invisible, Invisible Man, a new action figure based on the classic 1933 Universal horror movie The Invisible Man. And yes, this version is actually invisible.

The fully articulated, 7-inch-scale figure of Dr. Jack Griffin is molded entirely in translucent plastic, essentially giving collectors an “invisible” version of the iconic Universal Monster. The figure also includes invisible accessories, including interchangeable heads, hands, and a shirt collar piece.

But maybe the coolest part of the entire release is the insanely cool packaging.

NECA has created an almost completely translucent collector’s box with a frosted, fogged-glass effect, so the entire thing looks like an invisible action figure sitting inside an invisible box. Even The Invisible Man title looks like someone dragged their finger through condensation on the front.

The figure is priced at $29.99 and is currently available for pre-order, with shipping expected in Q4 2026.
