Shudder is going big for spooky season this year.
The streamer’s annual Season of Screams returns September 1 through December 31, bringing four months of new movies, series, specials and weekly live watch parties to Shudder TV.
Among the biggest premieres are Parasomnia, Mārama, Goody Goody, Bloody Tennis, Infirmary, The Cycle and Hallowarrior, along with the return of The Creep Tapes and a brand-new entry in the V/H/S franchise.
V/H/S/Mixtape arrives October 9, bringing horror and music together with new segments from Ernest Dickerson, RZA, David Moreau and Renee Zhan, plus music video interludes from Flying Lotus, a new music video directed by Tobias Forge, an appearance from GWAR, and even original puppets created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
The Creep Tapes returns for its third season on September 15, with Mark Duplass back alongside guest stars Kate Siegel, Nic Hamilton, Elliott Fullam and Ora Duplass.
Other highlights include Hallowarrior on October 16, starring Hereditary breakout Milly Shapiro as the last girl on Earth battling raiders on Halloween night, followed by The Cycle with Deborah Ann Woll and Jeffrey Donovan on October 23.
Shudder is also bringing back Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl for Joe Bob’s Halloween House Party on October 23, while Devon Sawa hosts the live on .
