There’s another hilarious clip in which Michael is surrounded by what feels like the entire neighborhood while everyone screams “EVIL DIES TONIGHT!” at him.
The jank almost makes these moments better.
Early players have reported plenty of bugs and wonky animations, while the single-player experience seems to be getting a more mixed response. But throw a bunch of actual people into Haddonfield together and the survival sandbox starts creating these completely unpredictable little Halloween movies.
And some of the funniest moments are coming from the players themselves.
In one clip, somebody gets on their microphone and starts doing a Pennywise impression while running around Haddonfield.
So you’re tellin me Halloween has proximity chat & I just came across a guy playing Michael Myers and he sounding like Pennywise? Aww hell nah…. pic.twitter.com/P5dUwMld0S

Then there’s something considerably less funny that’s probably going to piss off a whole lot of people: Michael Myers can apparently kill a dog.

Yeah, good luck with that one.
The game was already going pretty hard before Advance Access even started.
We previously shared a compilation of Michael’s absolutely vicious executions, which include everything from smashing someone’s head repeatedly in a refrigerator door to dropping a fucking car on them. The game is surprisingly brutal.
You can also smoke weed.
Smoking actually gives players a gameplay advantage by temporarily revealing Michael’s location, a mechanic so controversial that it resulted in the game being refused classification in Australia.
And then there’s sex.
Yes, Halloween: The Game apparently launched into Advance Access with sex.
Players discovered that two characters hiding together in a closet could trigger a sex interaction.
The clip exploded, racking up millions of views over the weekend and becoming one of the game’s biggest viral moments before Halloween: The Game has even officially launched.
Sex has been included in the new ‘HALLOWEEN’ game.

The interaction also appears to have subsequently been disabled, sending players right back to social media to ask what the hell happened to the sex. IllFonic hasn’t publicly explained the change, so we’ll leave the theories to everyone else.
Sex. Drugs. Brutal violence. Michael Myers driving around Haddonfield. People running him over with bicycles. Entire neighborhoods joining together to beat the shit out of him. Pennywise apparently stopping by for a visit. Michael murdering a fucking dog.
Halloween: The Game might be a little clunky right now, but fuck, it looks like people are having fun.
Halloween: The Game officially launches September 8 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
