Chelsea Krause (Genshin Impact, Dune: Awakening, Cookie Run: Kingdom) has revealed that she voices Laurie Strode in Halloween: The Game, including all of the character’s dialogue, screams, and vocal efforts.
For anyone who thought they were hearing Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween), Krause clarified on X:
I’ve seen quite a lot of people asking- no none of the lines in single player or multiplayer are Jamie Lee Curtis. All of Laurie’s lines/screams/efforts for Halloween the Game are me! Almost half of my sessions were me matching single player to the movie.
Developed by IllFonic, Halloween: The Game is out now digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Set in Haddonfield on Halloween night, 1978, the game pits one player as Michael Myers against four civilians trying to rescue residents, find supplies, and escape. A separate single-player mode lets you control Michael through events inspired by the original film, beginning with his escape from Smith’s Grove Sanitarium.
Mary Stowe found plenty to enjoy in Dread Central’s review, while noting rough edges and concerns about replayability. “Out of the Illfonic and Gun Interactive games, this one is their best so far,” she wrote.
