“Survive as a vessel, intervene as a god.”
Bloober Team’s Onyx: The Dark Grip puts a traveler’s survival—and sanity—in your hands. Revealed during Nintendo Direct, the 2.5D supernatural horror game is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
You play as the mysterious Entity, guiding a lone traveler through a desolate ghost town. Your supernatural powers let you manipulate the environment, solve puzzles, and confront terrifying creatures while keeping your human puppet from descending into madness.
The announcement also promises to blur the line between the game world and reality, although exactly how that works remains to be seen.
