Courtesy of Aura Entertainment and Deadline, we have our first look at Gabrielle Union (Breaking In) in the vampire film Casket Girls.
Justin G. Dyck, whose credits include Creepshow and Anything For Jackson, directs the story about a detective and her partner investigating a child’s supernatural encounter who get trapped inside a centuries-old New Orleans church when they accidentally unleash vampires.
Rounding out the key cast are Mike Colter, Raúl Castillo, Matt Frewer, and Thomas Lennon.
The supernatural horror thriller arrives from BlacKkKlansman and Get Out producer/investor QC Entertainment.
Coming off the success of Sinners, this feels like the perfect time for Gabrielle Union to battle vampires in New Orleans. Based on the photo above, she looks more than ready to do just that.
Night At The Museum co-writers Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant wrote the screenplay with revisions by Keith Cooper and Justin G. Dyck. Sean McKittrick and Raymond Mansfield are producing for QC Entertainment, with Edward H. Hamm Jr., Jameson Parker, and Union serving as executive producers.
Capture is selling international rights at the TIFF market.
