Capcom is opening its first-ever U.S. Capcom Store pop-up in Los Angeles this weekend, and the Resident Evil first-aid spray bottle and Biohazard shirt are the goods catching our attention.
The limited-time shop opens September 19 at Little Akihabara in Little Tokyo and runs through October 18, bringing merchandise from Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, and other Capcom franchises under one roof.
That first-aid spray bottle is a particularly fun collectible for anyone who’s spent years desperately searching for healing items while limping through these games. And the timing couldn’t be better: Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil arrives in theaters September 18, with those familiar healing sprays among the game references teased for the movie.
As we previously covered here on Dread Central, Cregger highlighted the items in Sony’s promotional video: “You won’t be able to help but notice some of the healing spray cans and some of the green herbs.”
Catch the movie Friday, browse some Resident Evil merch Saturday. Pretty good weekend.
The first 50 attendees on September 19 and September 20 will receive a limited-edition Tokyo Game Show handkerchief featuring Capcom games.
The shop is located at Little Akihabara Popup Shop & Live, 319 E 2nd St. #122, Los Angeles, CA 90012, with hours of noon–7 p.m. Follow Little Akihabara’s Instagram for updates.
