A new poster and slate of never-before-seen images are available for FOUND TV’sA Possession in Lincoln County ahead of its streaming on October 23. FOUND TV+ subscribers will have the privilege of early access, with A Possession in Lincoln County premiering one day early on October 22.
A Possession in Lincoln County is FOUND TV’s first in-house original feature, and its theatrical premiere at the Hamilton Film Festival on October 22 will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaking team.
Louie La Vella’s feature, scripted by Monica La Vella, “Follows Jake, a man documenting his wife’s battle with cancer. When her diagnosis becomes terminal, desperation leads him to an ancient ritual and an attempt to make a deal with the Devil. What begins as an effort to save the person he loves quickly spirals into kidnapping, demonic ritual, and the consequences of asking for something that should never be granted.”
A Possession in Lincoln County stars Matt Gallagher Heakes, Sabrina Knappett, Hannah Brennen and JoAnn Bundock.
The low-budget feature was reportedly produced for under $10,000 and marks the platform’s “first step from exclusively exhibiting independent found footage to producing its own.” Better still, physical media aficionados will want to check out an exclusive edition created specifically for early supporters. The collectible Blu-ray will feature an alternate ending not included in the streaming release. But act fast, since copies are limited to 500.
“We wanted the physical release to actually mean something,” said director and FOUND TV co-founder Louie La Vella. “If someone is supporting an independent film by owning it physically, we wanted to give them something that can’t just be watched online later. There are only going to be 500 copies with this ending, and that’s it.”
